This summer I painted my rusted calipers black. Soon after the car went in for new rotors and pads and one of the calipers also needed to be relaced. I was out of town at the time and my mechanic just went ahead and order a direct replacement caliper. Anyways the new caliper was painted silver and it remainded that way for about a month or so and now after about a week of strait rain it all rusted and looks horrible. So I was browsing boxer4racing.com and noticed some sweet looking STi Version IV/V brake calipers. They are super expensive and dont even fit my wheels but I really liked the "Subaru" that was painted on the side. So I was wondering if there are any other Subaru calipers that have that painted on the side that might work or would I just have to paint it on myself, which I know won't look nearly as good.

IIRC, the Subaru name on the side of the calipers is actually molded/cast/whatever on there. Then they just paint the raised part.

SUBARU is raised, at least it was on the 4-pots my buddy has on his 2.5RS.

They are the only Subaru calipers that have that, they were OEM on the JDM and EDM WRX's. We, again, got the pussy parts.
