02 wrx wheels with re92's or wait for some better 17 inch plus aftermarket wheels

$300 vs $600-1000 . . .

Really just depends on how much you want to invest. :)

WRX wheels are cheap, but only 16"
Aftermarket, you can go 17", but pay a lot more

RE92s are shitty
Better tires are more $$

WRX wheels/tires are quite a bargain if you can find them local. And verging on unsafe RE92s are a good excuse for tire abusive driving.

Was owed $500 so I took 500 mile WRX rims and RE92s off of a client. Been happy even though I got "took" on the quality of the tires.

I'll sell you a set of 17" wheels and tires for $500+shipping. I got them last spring and have about 6,000 miles on them. I should tell you that there is some minor curb rash on them (damn wet leaves). You can tell its there, but not from a distance.

I voted for the rex wheels. You can get a set for under $300 and then later you can get some nice 17's and use the 16" rex wheels for winter wheels. :)

Personally I love the way WRX wheels look on our cars. Like people said with the money you save you can get some nice tires. Just my two cents

You can get S0-3's on the WRX wheels... That's one of the stickier streetable tires you can get.

S-03s rock. ESPECIALLY in the wet.

I was looking at getting a set of 16x7 six spoke RS alloys for mine. Opie had some on before I bought it, and I thought it looked quite sharp.
