That's all I can say.
I just watched "Super Size Me." The documentary of the path of one man across 30 days eating solely McDonalds foodstuffs.
He was not allowed to eat anything that was not purchased at McDonalds, down to the water.
He was required to SuperSize when asked (asked 9 times in 30 days, 5 of those times in Texas, the fattest state in the country).
He gained 24.5 pounds, shot up 100 cholesterol points, and his liver turned to shit.
It was gross.
I don't think I ever want to eat McDonalds, or fast food in general, any more. I am SERIOUSLY going to cut back on my intake of those foods.
I HIGHLY recomend seeing this film. It is genuinely disturbing.
ESPICALLY the notion that more American's know the Big-Mac theme than the Pledge. Scary.
That is all

Meh. . . fast food is tasty on occasion. I think what the film's really saying is that it's certainly nothing to soley live off. I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard many of the same things about it.
Bit Torrent time.

I only eat at those places when absolutely necessary (like I'm in Egypt or driving cross country). I'm a meataterian, yet those places make me sick - the food sits like a lump in my stomach. Roy Rogers is the worst.

I'm done with most hamburgers from fast-food chains. If I want a hamburger, I'm either going to Steak n Shake (which I hear is not in every part of the country

), or I'll cook it myself.
I distinctly remember being extremely hungry at school, to the point of having a headache. So I went to Wendy's, ordered the biggest burger, super-sized the fries and drink, and ordered the chicken strips on the side. I scarfed the whole thing down, and a half-hour later, I
still had a headache. All that food and I got no nutrition out of it at all. That was kind of a turning point.

Eating any food at all won't necessarily rid yourself of a starvation headache. More than likely, you were more dehydrated than anything. . .
I've had that happen, too. . . regardless of the quality of food, the headache doesn't always go away.

fast food, mcdonalds definitely gives you a gut bomb. However I do get a craving for it every now and then, and usually get it if I'm doing cross-country drives.
To be quite honest, I don't remember the last time I had it though....so I guess that's good. They do offer mcgrill chicken sandwiches or something like that, which is "healthiER" But still probably isn't as good.

I've gone to the opposite end of the spectrum--organic. Not vegetarian, just organic (if I had a choice). This morning I made a different sort of omelette--all organic or natural ingredients with no pesticides, growth hormones, etc.--apple chicken sausage, celery, cilantro, parsley, tomatoes, and two eggs cooked in virgin first cold pressed olive oil with garlic and Celtic sea salt. Amazingly delicious (at least to me). I've never heard of anyone making this kind of omelette but I'm just experimenting and cooking different things. But, at least, no heavy, undigested lump in my stomach like Mickey D's causes. Oh, also had a pomegranate--high in potassium and antioxidants. It's actually given me more energy. That kind of breakfast will cost close to $20 (according to some) but actual cost of ingredients is about $2.25. I figure for my health it's worth it.
I just got the "Supersize Me" DVD from a friend on Sunday. She's learning to eat more healthily and says she'll never go back to McDonald's again. She told me how last year in the middle of summer they got an ice cream cone from McD's and I forgot the reason but she tossed it out the window and it landed on the sidewalk on the ice cream with the cone sticking in the air. They went back several hours later and the ice cream cone was still there and the ice cream wasn't even melted!!! Lots of my friends have been talking about it so I'm looking forward to seeing it.
Whooops, excuse the rambling, please.

Maybe internal "adjusting" of the books just like Krispy Kreme?
