Great turnout today!

I actually met another LegacyCentral member, Frantic 4 with his modified legacy SS. Nice to meet you. I want your injectors!


I was not able to see the turnout for the morning runs, but the afternoon runs had plenty of people and went into the twilight zone at about 5 pm.

Open class had 2 or 3 STIs, 4-6 wrxs, 4-6 Imprezzas and two legacies, one a modified turbo sedan and mine, the SC wagon. There was also an XT, and an RX turbo

PGT class had an 80's 3 door GL, 3-4 wrxs, 3-4 imprezzas, 2 legacy gts and a green outback.


Of course there were other cars, but do we care? (sometimes yes, but thats for elsewhere)

Russ Chesnut (sp?) won open class in his and probably open overall for the season with his imprezza which is in need for some TLC this winter. The STIs and WRXs need to learn to drive a tad better. There is Power, there is Tires and there is Skill. The first two dont do you much without the latter, Great Job Russ!

As for me, I will be a contender next year. I would have easily been in the top three but suffered some flooding problems and killed the wagon on two runs for some serious time penalties until the car started up again.

This winter I plan on upgrading the sway bars, front struts, maybe springs, reworking the cobbed tires, and of course upgradeing the boost level of the only supercharged legacy in the world (I just like saying that). I am pushing about 160 chp right now and by this spring it should be up to about 200. That alone should cut about 4 seconds off my time, which in the world of rallycross is HUGE.

Now if I can just learn to avoid knocking over 4 to 6 cones every run, then I will have learned how to actually drive my car.........

I spoke to a few new people who felt a bit "bored" with the rallycross competition setup. They felt they could have more fun by themselves out in the woods. Well, they are right. But if you actaully want to learn how to safely control a car, and compare you control to actual good driver, I think rallycross is a great place to drive balls out.

Granted, you aren't every going to shift into third gear, but then again you aren't going to slide off the road and fuk the crap out of your car. Instead you are going to learn how NOT to slide off the road and keep your car in one piece and money in your pocket.

Wish I could have gone, I heard it was REALLY tight and muddy... I would have gone if I hadn't blown out one of my snows rallying in the woods last week. I hit a rock the size of a basketball at about 30mph and it ripped up my 2nd cat and blew out the drivers side rear. Also put a dent in my gas tank.

matt, you should spend less time destroying your car, and more time saving for a rally school.

I'll remember you said that the next time I see you... Seeing how there was snow everywhere and it was a one lane road with a cliff on the right I don't think there was much I could do about it. The larger lifted subarus drove over it just fine.

To answer your question, he drives one of two red Eclipses. 'Course, if your from down south, puyallup/tacoma area, there are another 4 red mitsubishi eclipses that I know too. No, I am not mad at you but you sure do have a way of making friends. As for your brother who was at wild west in front of me when I was marshaling; he was going 5mph the whole way in his slammed RWD eclipse and I passed the mexicans behind him (on a one lane road) I had to get back to service to give Barrett my camera. So he decides to punch it and throw rocks all over my legacy, I didn't care but I was going to yell at him at the end of the road... But what does he do? When I hop out of the car he just burns off down the road and hauls ass 80mph down a 30mph public street! OH NOW U CAN GO FAST MISTER RICER... So when we get back to service he has the balls to tell everyone that I sprayed rocks on his car even though I was behind him the whole time.

So since I was with the service team for barrett he trys to get them penalized for that. This is why I have a short fuse with you guys. That was just not a very cool experience... I had a talk with Chris (Blakely/sp?) that day and he said it sounds like something your brother would do.

Anyway, I'm in seattle. I don't drink beer I'm 19. But ya uhm rain check... Do you have a build rally car anymore? I heard you crashed it or it blew up or something.

A) That car is factory height. Read up on DSMs.
B) It's not RWD. Read up on DSMs.

My brother who has no reason to lie to me about some wacko speeding down the road in his legacy to try and make it back to the service area from the spectator point; or you, who as best I can tell at this point, seems uneducated to rules of the road and driving in general? My brother has been involved with rally for as long as I have, and wants to see it flourish just as much as I do. He has crewed for a team that has almost disqualified out due to the actions of another guy who had signed up to help. People misbehaving on the road during race weekend isn't good for the sport. He knows this, it sounds like you've been educated now too.

Dude the rear tires where spinning. I asked the same question myself! I was like uhm I thought eclipses only came in front and AWD. Well this one was spinning the back tires. ANYWAY!!! Ya we caught back up to him on our way back to service we wheren't going to start any shit or anything like that but he took a different route, he went left we stayed right. So I don't know how he got there but he beat us. I also have no reason to lie about that. And if I sprayed rocks on his car I would be totally bragging about that cause i'm that type of person who doesn't give a shit. What road are you referring to, the 30mph road? Was it paved or unpaved?

It was probably more like 25 but still he was doing 5 or under. It was unpaved... I think stage 5 or something. What is so special about your car? And hey thread maker... Sorry for totally taking over your thread lol. We have met b4, do you know who I am? Blue legacy was at Wcss6
