Ah yes the ultra rare RX turbo coupe. I'd love to get ahold of that example (no rust) :D

I like the look of the black rims on the white though. Paint the others black maybe?

Black on white is ok but I'm not a bug fan of black rims. Gold on white is I like, it just says Subaru.

Gold is too "bling" for me... there will be no Gold on my RX :)

I wanted to do black as well Brian. I think it will look really good (and accent to rotors/calipers nicely) but after I photoshopped with the silver rims... i thinkit looks real good with the white. I will need to find a shot of some black pugs to use and then re-photoshop it.

i think the silver rims look goofy, but that's just me

not the fact that they're silver, just the shape

Sorry Laurel. Unless i convert to the XT6 suspension and 5x100 lug pattern... im screwed. The RX has 4x140mm lug pattern which is only shared with my Peugeot and im stuck with those peugeot rims since there are no other 15" alloys in a 4x140mm pattern.

Besides... i like it :)

Yeah, finding wheels is a problem. I've seen a few 13s & 14s, but those are probably the only 15s that fit. Did you photoshop it to scale? The wheels looks smaller in gthe photo.

I must be out of the loop. You got an RX Brian?? Cool stuff! :D I thought that was just a random pic you picked out...

As for the RX's rarity, the sedan is MUCH rarer than the coupe. I've only seen one RX sedan, that was an 85-87. I've never seen an 88 RX sedan.

that's probably because they didnt make them.

Wrong Hardy... the RX Sedan was actually made before the coupe was. Its what started the whole craze in '85. It was modeled as a RX Sedan Turbo Traction model.

Check out the red sedan, hard to read the caption but its proof:

Steve... i didnt scale them to size. Just made it look right. Hope it worked. Making them black will be harder.

Subyluvr... i dont have it just yet. Me and Hardy will be going to get it on Sunday :) Thats a pic of the real car too.

Yeah a guy I went to school with had an 87 sedan RX. I saw one in the junkyard the other day as well. I'm not sure on the year for the junkyard one, though.

They also had a coupe sitting right next to it.

I'll bet a bag of Valencia oranges. If you win i'll squeeze you some fresh OJ. If I win I get to beat you with it, it wont leave a bruise but it'll get my point across. :)

Can you video tape it? I've never seen someone beat with an orange and bruises add character.

they made rx sedans in 1988?

Yessir, have a pic of one in my 1988 Full-Line brochure. They're the rarest of the RX sedans.

They started in 1985, and i believe 1989 was the last year for the RX Sedans and Coupes. From thereon out they were all reffered to as Loyale.

The RX sedan ended in 88, there was only a coupe in 89.
