than the others for the turbo legacies?

I have a '94 Turbo Wagon. I know some cars are really picky when it comes to certain brands.

NGK for subaru. Repeat after me, OEM is best. If you get some Bosch Platinums you will pay the price...

I thought OEM was Champion? At any rate, my vote is for the NGK coppers!

so for a N/A EJ20 - can someone give me the name/part # of the plugs?

There are OEM part numbers for both NGK and Champion plugs. The Champion part number was listed as an alternative to the NGK ones, but is now obsolete (it's been superceded by the original NGK one).

nzKAOSnz - I would guess your plugs would be the same as ours -- part number 22401AA310, which is an NGK BKR6E-11. But it's possible that the heat range and/or gap are different. If you still have your owner's manual, it should specify the plugs.

Just talked to the car parts place (Not the dealer) - and there's two types of the high end plugs.

NGK Iridium
NGK Platinium
Which should i take (if either of them)? They do have the elcheapo NGK's-but im assuming the above mentioned are not.

What are you guys paying for the plugs each? (Price and currency please  )

Just go with the el cheapos. Our electrical system isn't designed to run with the platinum plugs. Just change them at the interval and they're better.

iridium filament vs. platinum.

iridium is 5x more expensive and is supposed to last longer. But it doesn't really matter since neither is ideal.

Oh well. Lets see hw the el cheapo's go

I have been running the iridums in both my turbos for about a year. There is no appreciable wear. Both cars idle and pull better with them.
I paid about $25 for the set.

amen to that.

Tried the iridiums - idles a helluva lot better - more pull - specially down low- runs smoother. It had platiniums in it. Now to see hw the fuel Economy goes.
