when idle the motor rev between 1500 and 2000 revs..??
just happen while driving home today!!!
Any ideas any one??

just got trubble code 24 coolant temperature sensor or circuit, or Idle-up solenoid
im guessing its the idle-up solenoid
does anyone no where it is?

what is the idle up solenoid? Did you get a separate code for that?
More then likely it's the coolant temp sensor, and failing temp sensor can cause a lot of weird issues with idling, fueling, and overall engine performance.

the web site i look at had both of them under one code..
ok so where is the temp sensor on the radiator? are they cheap?

Wait a sec.....24 is not coolant temp sensor, it's the IAC valve.
I suggest you check out my site, it has the correct information on it.

IAC - idle air control valve.....and yes....it's sole purpose is to regulate the engine's idle.

Back of the manifold to the side of the throttle body. Kind of looks like a little box.
