Auto Transmission Mounts.. options?

Well, my transmission mounts are shot.. I checked around for replacements, and they're around $140 or so. Are there any cheaper options? Will a WRX auto tranny mount work?

Cut all the rubber away from the worn stock mount and replace it with urethane casting compound.

almost all tranny mounts are interechangeable assuming they're from the same style tranny. I know in the early imprezas they had a different transmission crossmember, but I dont know if that affected the actual mount. And AFAIK those are the only cars they did that to. I think up to 95 or 96.
