1991 2.2 Legacy Turbo Sport Sedan ((SOLD))...... $10,100.00

My 1991 2.2 Legacy Turbo Sport Sedan, 5-speed manual, color (Black Mica) mileage 51K on a whole new motor from Subaru, total mileage 99,058 just sold for $10,100.00. This car was 100% stock, all records, absolutely nothing was ever done to this car except brake pads and new motor (due to mechanics error and factory of course covered it). She had all documentation, three loving owners the original exhaust system, relays and even glass. For all that said these cars where not worth much.....and only having made 15 5-speed sticks in 1991, now it is time to close the book on Legacys and move down the road. It's sooooo nice in my Ruff Porsche, color black, slant nose, 600 HP 6-speed, paddle shifted, 200 MPH, Subaru eater, WRX or anything else that wants to get in the way, jump on and spit out the tail pipes road rocket. Oh ya, I still love Subaru's in the winter.........but that is all they are good for now! I bend in revererance to the F1 Mclaren all others, nada!!

The guy has a McLaren kit car. It was in one of the ebay auctions (which of course he made sure was in the picture and that he mentioned it as not being for sale so he looked real cool). It said 1995 M6B which would make it a replica (Ahem, kit car) since the M6B was built in the late '60's and was a Can AM, not F1 car. Anyway, its RUF as in roof, not Ruff as in the common reference to the sound a dog makes. I don't know why I bother with these Terry Brennans as they don't convince anyone, but I somehow can't resist.

Ok, IF this car was real, which its not, but if it was, wouldn't you expect it to "eat" something with 373 less hp??

Oh by the way, I just sold my 1991 Legacy, and since it was one of the first to ever come out of the SIA plant, I got a hair under $25,000 for it. Even though the paint was terrible, and there were a few shot suspension bushings, at it had 140,000 miles on it, the guy that bought it said "Wow! I can't believe I have the opportunity to own one of the first American-built Subarus ever! The demand is SOOOO high for these cars that I'll give you a $10,000 deposit now and come back with the rest next week!!" It was one of the super-rare Mica Ruby ones, supposedly only TWO 1991 Legacies came in that color, there was a Ruby wagon in Washington that was owned by a young high-school student girl.
Now I'm enjoying driving around in my 800-hp Porsche 944 Turbo, which has a T76 turbo on it and the front-mount from a Mack truck. It's amazing to drive, and no Subaru could ever keep up with me. I keep hearing this awful thunking sound from the engine whenever I get on it, and when I rigged up an air-fuel gauge for show, the gauge is always pointing to the left. But it's all good, I'm thinking of increasing the boost from 30lbs to 50lbs next week, and I can't wait to take it to the 12-hour event that the racetrack is holding next week to see how many Ferraris I can beat. People have told me I should upgrade from the stock engine and fuel management, but what do they know?? I'm the one who was sitting on a gold-mine 1991 Subaru and made the move to profit off of it!!!

Oh, I skipped the 6-speed paddle shift when I scanned it. Yeah, slant noses with 6-speed paddle shifts? I'll have to run that by Crocket and Tubs to see if they remember those.

Hahahahaha I laugh so much for the ones that wish to wish and the ones that know wish more. A nice fat check from the 2.2 off of ebay and $10K plus is exactly what I wanted and got. I was expecting that kind of money since it was #1 off the assembly line at Subaru and FHI told me so.... As far as the Ruf goes, it's all custom from Germany. The McLaren prototype M6B is a race/road car, not an F1 or any where near it, a stage three prototype and not for sale as indicated on ebay to keep people from asking that ludicrous question... Aaaaaaaaah let me see, we have to talk about Legacys off the subject. I know what... Jesse James could be contacted and the Leagcy could be made into a bulldozer. We have all wheels turning or perhaps make it into a tank. Do you think it would hold up if I put a howitzer cannon welded on the roof with a turrent... Just wondering if the shock wave would ruin my crystal flower vase that I would plan to put in it for effect. Or instead do you think it could be caged and made strong enough to accept three of my go cart peroxide powered motors to test on the Salt Flats this coming Spring.... Just wondering, makes you wanna say Hmmmmmm !!

So youre telling us you got $10K plus from the car on ebay that clearly ended with no bids at 4900$?
Man from Miami bought it, he paid $23,000.00 for his in 1991

So he said it was a bargain and worth every bit of the 50% off he paid for his 2.2 turbo new. Since he crashed his in 2001 and saw mine, the rest is history one would say. Besides I gave him a ride in my Ruf and he went nuts for what he wanted to do to his newly acquired toy... Since it is an extremely rare car, I told him to buy my Cobb tuned motor and keep the car stock looking, which he is going to do I hope then ..... it all went down the road. I was given the stage 3 motor by Rev Tech tuning out of Riverside California, so all the more to my pocket in the end, he made out well. If I didn't sell it to him, I was going to advertise it in Europe for $23,500.00 with the window sticker on the window and all. She would of sold there, but it sold here so I am just as happy!

Seriously, are you just messin with us?
Just goes to show you that the 1991 2.2 Turbo is............

.......... worth a lot more than people really think unlike what others say they can sell them for to just a regular car guy looking in the looser Kelly Book! Realistically if someone has a 5-speed 2.2 in nice shape, low mileage it is worth at least $7500.00. Mine is a rare case of someone that wanted this car and that was the bottom deal. Also the supposed kit car I have sells for $50,000.00 with out a motor or transmission......

Don't ban him just yet...
GT8, would you mind taking a picture of your Ruf? Next to that Fiero and rusted old Rabbit? And can you take a picture of the interior so we can see the paddle-shifters?

Also, GT8, in your opinion, what do you think my 91 5 speed is worth with a bad tranny and some rust? Since it is "1 of 15 made" you know!
Hey! I just thought of something! Since it has a bad tranny, I should find me one of them paddle shifted ones! Think there's an adapter kit for it?

For all that wanted to see my Ruf here it is... As far as my rusted out VW.. Cool I like that! She is an experimental deisel that burns water to make it go... just water, imagine that!!!! Well she burns water through a mixture that is called Browns Gas for all you tech people out there. You put water in a fuel cell combo and it makes hydrogen gas, you have to have some special things to make it work, but it will run on just plain ol water. Not a sterling motor, but a browns gas motor. Now for my rusted out Rabbit... I run two motors in her.. First one motor burns french fry grease that is heated up from its sold form. filtered and then injected into a 1.8 liter turbo deisel motor... smells like french frys going down the highway... hehehe!!! ... but I manage to get 52 MPG from her and a nice torque figuire as well. I did however run browns gas in my 1991 2.2 Legacy before I sold her and decided against it since I would be better to run an intercooler as well as dry ice to keep the temps down, browns gas can be very hot.... I do plan on experimenting on the Ruf to see if I can get 70 MPG out of her using a vapor injection system, by heating up gasoline in a special way... (m patenting the method)... so the only details my patent attorney lets me say it this... There is a grid that gasoline goes over and it mixes with something and the end result is 1000% of product..... You asked......... I tell.......
How about some of you brainiacs out there spilling your beans and telling us how you have played with fuel systems to make things go zoom zoom zoom.. Lord how I have almost blown my self up several times with rocketry and run away platinum grids, belching out steam from peroxide going off at the salt flats.......

GT8 - /yourself.
I want a picture of your RUF next to your Legacy.
Oh, and by the way, your website sucks.
