Just got mine, as good as the last. Subarutex got a whole section for him, including a part about the toyota that flipped :). And our very own Subaru_Nation555 got a section in the readers rides. Grats to him on being the first legacy thrown in there, even if the writers did give a bunch of misinformation about the car. Overall, another good issue.

I saw it too, way to go Subaru_Nation555. How are those 160ft-lbs of torque treating you?

I got mine last night. Good stuff. A little weak on the article side (well, make that really weak :?). But they are definitely headed in the right direction.

An article suggestion would be to do a break down of the history of USDM Subarus. Explain EA81's, EA82's and their bodies. Then the EJ18, EJ20, EJ22, EJ25 along with their turbocharged variants in the Legacy/Impreza/Outback lineup. That way I can at least be sure that THEY know what they are talking about. :)

P.S. - The offroad article was awesome. But they sooooo needed to talk about that Hatch and the Brat. With more pics of the engine, drivetrain, etc..

Other than the fact that it had 160hp/180ft-lbs when new in the US model designation, which details are your referring to?

The overseas Legacy RS's were 2.0L quad cam Air-water intercooled units.

We could have someone assemble a fact sheet on the 90-94 Legacy Turbo and the NA. So you guys can get started on the chassis/engine code breakdown for your next issue ;)

Can I get a reference for the 2.0L info? I owned a '92 Turbo a few years back, and when I was obsessively researching it, I don't recall running into any info referencing a different sized block on the overseas Liberty. Not to say it's not true, I just don't recall seeing it.

The misinformation I was refering to was the tq, should be 181 Ft/Lbs, the boost, should be 8.7 PSI, the engine size, should be 2.0 as William already stated, and the model, It is only a Liberty in Continental Austrailia It's a Legacy everywhere else even New Zealand. Nothing too devastating :)

Almost all New gen Subaru Turbo's are 2.0L. The exceptions being the 22B and the new 2.5 turbo cars.
