ok i currently have a thermous plenum and a cone filter. the intercooler piping that is being made as we speak has created little to no room for the intake/filter that i currently have. so here are a few possibilties.

1. get a 6 inch round 2 inch thick k&n with an offset flange and use that .

2. pipe it up and put a sock around the end of it.

3. hybrid cai. put the main filter down under the abs unit and run it up to the maf and splice a smaller pipe in right before the maf and put a small k&n from a chopper on the right side of the abs unit behind the charcoal can.

thoes are three to choose from. any other sugestions are apricated.

Move the charcoal canister.

When I run piping, I'm going to keep the stock air box. Easier that way.

maybe a picture of your engine bay would help us make suggestions.

No, move the charcoal cannister, then run a pipe from the turbo inlet, under the IC pipe, and to that area. Have a cone filter or whatever the hell there.

When I run piping, I am going to run the IC pipe through where the charcoal cannister was, and simply move that. I have a very elaborate, but very ingenious pipe routing design (though it's not an original design, it's a bastardization of multiple designs).

does intake length effect the peroformance of the turbo though.

the ic pipe actualy goes under the plenum across where the maf is and thorught the hole provided by the snorkus which isnt there anymore.

That isn't what I am talking about, but it's irrelevant, as your pipes are run already.

An extra 3 inches isn't going to hurt turbo performance any noticeable amount.

No, this area is not pressurized. It's legth after the turbo that's important for throttle response.
