Does anyone know any tricks for removing the injectors from a 22t. I tried unbolting the caps and pulling them out with a pair of pliers and by hand but they wouldnt budge. The guys at rallitek have a set of 465s, i think, {from a ej20 jdm legacy} i can trade for my stock ones if i can get them out. The injectors would swivel maybe an 8th of an inch but thats it. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Sam

I beleive there is a little O-ring in there that helps seat them pretty good. Get a cherry picker and jack that shit out.

Drive over to my shop and I will help you. Oops, you can't!!!
Try spraying in some sort of wd-40 and let soak and then try again. I had to basically stand on the engine to get enough force to pop out some injectors once.

Someone recently mentioned using compressed air to pop the injectors off. Hook the air compressor to one end of the fuel rail, cap off the other end, and slowly raise the pressure until they pop out.
If you're very careful about it, you might be able to remove the fuel rails and press on the injectors from the other side.

I wonder if a bit of heat would soften up the O rings. Will it run at all?
Is it down at Rallitek right now? I was thinking of going down there today.

Once I got mine to spin fairly freely, I twirled a shop rag to tighten it up, and set the middle of the rag behind the electrical nub on the injector. I held both ends of the rag together and gave a firm pull, and out it came. I suspect a piece of thin nylon rope or something similar may work. You want something that won't slip off too easily. Also, turn the injector so you can get a good angle to pull against.

I used a pair of channel locks and grabbed the edges of the injector to try and rotate them. Once they rotated, I grabbed them by the edges again and sort of pryed the channel lock against the fuel rail to get them out.
They're not easy to get out...that's for sure.
