I was out with the Suby crowd tonight, and we all caravaned to dinner. A local suby tech was riding with me, and we were chatting.

He brought up a very interesting fact.

The Forester N/A flat spoke wheels, the ones steve has. They are lighter than stock WRX wheels.

The whole Forester wheel/tire combo, is lighter than the WRX wheel/tire combo.

So congratulations Steve! You made a good choice

Yeah, I never got to weigh them, but I was happy with the weight when I first picked them up. Awesome! I think they look better, too, though the WRXs don't look bad on a Legacy.

Does this mean everyone's going to copy me now so I have to get something else?

How much do the actual wheels weigh? That's more important than the wheel and tire package.
