Where to plumb in recirc valve?

Where would be the best to plumb in the stock recirc valve? Pre-intercooler or post-intercooler?

I noticed that most stock applications have the recirc/bov post-intercooler.

What would be best.

I actually had an idea about plumbing it on the Saab i/c, but have yet to try anything.

As close as possible to the TB. That's the ideal way to do it.

Oh, well......

I couldn't find the parts I was looking for in the correct size, so I finally got my pipe welded up with the fitting.

I had it angled towards the turbo a bit, but he welded it on backwards, so it is angled towards the firewall.

Still, he didn't do a bad job for 5 minutes work and $10.....

Yes, ideally it would be after the intercooler, like the WRX has it. That way it doesn't see the pressure drop across the intercooler and you recirculate intercooled air.

With the Saab intercooler that's hard to achieve, though. I'm pretty sure every one of us with a Saab intercooler puts the BOV on the pipe from the compressor to the intercooler.
