Hi All, Please help:

Just have a basic check up today with my 92 Turbo (ej20g engine), I found out the coolant tank with engine oil!!!
What had happened? I just replace the new radiatior 4 months ago. The car runs no problem, start very smooth and the car runs boost without any problem, no blue smoke come out from the back.......
Are there any possiable problem on the cooling system or Problem on the engine ?
Will the car still drive-able over the weekend ?

umm.. so your coolant looks milky?
There's oil in it? That could be with your turbo oil return lines and/or the coolant lines.. I'm not famliar enough with turbo engines to diagnose that with accuracy, but if you've got things in the coolant, that tells me there's some kind of head gasket damage.. which is anomolous with you still having boost.

Well, the most probable place to find both coolant and oil is at the head gaskets. I'm guessing that is where the problem lies. The gasket can get pin hole leaks and seap oil into the cooling system.
I think that if you drain your radiator fluid you might find trace amount of oil.

This is just mearly a guess, but did you have to replace the radiator due to overheating issues? If so, then the oil might have gunked up the passages in the radiator. Just a guess though.

What does the coolant itself look like? Did you check the oil for coolant? Neither one should look like chocolate milk. Bad head gaskets won't necessarily make the car run hot right away.

Thanks for replys , as the check on both the coolant reserver and engine oil dip stick, I didn't notice any coolant on the dip stick, but there are oil on the coolant reserver tank.

For the radiator replacement. the reason of the replace since the upper nack was broken, so I have to replace the new one and it works no problem on the pass 4 months.

One more question, as the car could drive over the weekend??

Dudes right, It may be a leak in on of your cooling deelies in your radiator causing it to mix with the anti-freeze. Tranny fluid might look similar to oil if diluted..

Well then Ben. Looks like you have a headgasket issue. The car will be fine mostlikely. Usally headgasket issues in the early stages arn't that bad unless you putting your car under a lot of stress or bearing a big load. You'll be fine, just don't travel to far without having someway of getting home if she takes a shit on you.

wont necessarily smoke either.

get yourself some of the barr's leaks or similar sealant that goes into the radiator to stop head gasket leaks. It won't last forever, but you can sometimes carry on for a few weeks or months that way.

Use at least two cans. Check your oil for water, if you have that I wouldn't drive it, if you want to fix it.
