Nice! How are you liking it?

I'm not sure on the CEL. I didn't get one when I did mine. :/ Did you reset your ECU?

I like it alright so fa, i just took a run to the foodmarket and it is pulling harder, and the ECL kept coming on and off till it decided to stay off, mmm a little weird.

Well as far as the instalation i broke 2 out of 4 nipples on the coolant tank and i replaced them with some coper fittings from home depot.

hehe i like the noise, sounds it is like a little jet.

Hi welcome aboard,

You can get a saab intercooler in the Junk Yark, make sure it is from a saab 900 turbo and it is in good shape. The intercooler is located behind the drivers side headlight on the saab, clean it up and run a vaccum test with your household vaccum. Another way to find one is on Ebay, then again you will be paying much more for it there, i highly reccommend going to the JY yourself and do it yourself. if you need more infor on how to install come back to the board or PM me for more info.

Thanks

Did you spill coolant when they broke? If you did then I can almost garauntee that the CEL is knock sensor related. When I broke my first tank it killed my knock sensor. The sensor is almost directly under the coolant tank and it doesn't like moisture one bit.

I like the jet sound too. :D

well the CEL went off an it never came back on, i guess the system needed to have everything get used to the IC and create vaccum inside the BOV. Well the CEL is off and i'm very pleased with it, now i need to fix my coolant tank grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

That or the coolant finally completely evaporated and stopped pissin' the knock sensor off. ;)

I second that situation...

yeah, thats one reason I like having my coolant tank relocated to where it is; the old washer bottle place. Didn't like having all that moisture directly over such a sensitive sensor. Made lots of room too for routing.

note: this is not a current photo, this was taken months ago. If this were a current photo, FMIC piping would be quite visible instead of all that space. lol

The CEL came on after my install also. It stayed on for the first few times I drove it, then went off. Hasn't been back on since.
