A quick search turned up that GF/OBS wagon rear bars will fit legacy wagons, my question is will GDA wagon rear bars fit? Those are much easier to find than GF ones. For the front, same thing, I saw that all GC/GF bars will fit, will GDA/GDB bars fit? I don't see why not, but want to know for sure.

any first gen bars should be interchange able. Second gen strut tops have a different bolt pattern.

Isn't the front the same for all cars?

Jamal - No.

The bolt orientation for the GD is different than for all other EJ cars. The bolts are about 30 degrees offset, on the GD. That's why I had to give up my Cusco camber plates, in favor of my Noltec plates. The Cusco joints were designed for the GD, not the GC.

The GC bar will work, but the 02+ Impreza bar will NOT work

I see. I figured that since the strut tops had the same bolt spacing they'd work. Now that I think about it, the tops on the 05 STi struts I had for about a day were free to rotate.

it's not the strut tops that govern whether the bar will fit or not, it's the orientation of the holes that the studs go through.

Ok, so GC/GF/BC/BF front will work, only GF/BF rears will work. GDA/GDB no work. Right?
