Car pulls hard right when I turn the "power" on.

It seems that everytime I get up on the gas the leggy pulls hard right. The tires are like new. No weird wearing patterns.

What Parts should I look to inspect/repair/replace?

Should I get an alignment first and see what they say?

Yeah, I'm not great with suspension stuff, but it seems like an alignment is the place to start if it's been a while since it was last aligned.

If you go for an alignment, they should do a front end check anyway as it's useless with worn components, but for your own knowledge, you could jack up the front wheel and try to move it. If it moves in the vertical direction, take a look at the ball joint. If there's play, replace it. If the wheel shakes in the horizontal plane, check the tie rod ends. If there's play in the joint at wheel end, that's the outer tie rod, if it moves in and out of the rack, then it's the inner tie rod. If it's either of those, you'll need an alignment anyway. I usually check my front end every few months, though both bal joints lasted over 200k and the tie rods I only replaced when I swapped the rack due to flood damage (water crossing up to headlights to show off to SUVs that were turning back - worked though, as all they saw was me making it and have no idea that it eventually killed my rack. Though an Eclipse that tried to follow my lead got stuck and possibly hydrolocked he he he).

I have the same problem. When I get on it my front tires skip but the car pulls a little too. I had an alignment and it took so I dunno.

buy a firestone lifetime alignment, and take it in, have them diagnose what's wrong, then you can replace it,and take it back in for another alignment

Seconded. . . it's a cheap way to get an expert's opinion AND an alignment. . . over and over again. ;)

Sounds like torque steer. Do you have an automatic? Is awd working?
