So I'm thinking of putting a set of eibach 2" drop springs on my 92 legacy turbo.
Will this work with my stock struts? Is it strictly a bolt on mod?

Yes. Yes, but you need a spring compressor.

Your stock struts are probably very worn by now, and the springs are like 28% or something stiffer than stock. So expect to have considerably worse ride quality and less handling prowess than you'd expect, especially at speed. Lowering your car much really doesn't do much except look cool and bottom out easier. Eibach rear springs are progressive, all the legacy struts i know of are linear, who knows why they did that. It will take you prolly 6 hours to do if you've never done it before. If you want the car to be more nimble, and are on a limited budget, replace the shocks, preferably with some GR2 or AGX units.

Cliff notes: a lot of work for not that much gain.

All personal bias aside, a 2" drop on our cars may look sweet (still trying to get photos for you guys of my car with it's drop), it flat out just does not ride comfortably. But then again, if you have Ractive gauges and whatnot in the car, I have no idea what your perception of ride quality may be.

Scott - There was an article posted in the Library, that said the Turbo struts are progressive?
