Major problem starting EJ22T

It just won't fire up even when shooting ether in the intake.

ok... here is the setup

EJ22T with FMIC + Recirculating valve

Removed recirculating valve to shoot ether in the intake because it would not start on it's own. Still, the ether won't fire :?:

The engine cranks no problem.
I checked the spark on one of the spark plugs, I have fire on at least 1 of the cylinders so that's not an issue. (I think)

I could not check the other because it was dark outside and I had no flashlight.

Even if there is no fuel going to the cylinders, it should at the very least fire the ether.

So, any opinions, toughts or tricks I could try?

Air, fuel, and spark. Which one are you missing?

Air -yes.
Spark - maybe.
Do you have fuel? - the ether could be evaporating before it reaches the cylinder.
What has recently been done to the vehicle?

I bought the non-starter from Marc. Had it CAA'd to my place and it's still a no-starter.

I double checked the connections on the MAF and ignitor for corrosion. They both looked good. The fuel pump operates when you turn the key on. The fuel pump also operates during cranking so I believe the ECU is getting at least some crank/cam signal.

Occasionally you hear a few pops as it fires.

I will check that the car is sparking on all 4 cylinders. I will also test the coil for resistance and inducatance.

Suggestions anyone? I could config and install a PSITech for it but we've never done a subaru ignition setup so it would require extra work and maybe even some extra firmware changes :(

When I say I bought the non-starter I mean I bought the car from 444turbo. There is no problem with the starter. It cranks just fine.
