Transmission input shaft seals

My uncle and I are currently 'dropping in' my new tranny. Not teh fun.
Anyhow, the tranny that I just bought didn't have the shafts coming out of it, like the old one did. These would be the splined shafts that go into the roll-pin dealies. We had to take the rear output off, inc the carrier bearing, and then the transmission mount mount (whachamacallit?) off so that the tranny could be slapped side to side in order to pop off the front driveshafts.
Anyhoo, when we pop those shafts back into the new tranny, I'm told there's some seals there that need to be replaced. I don't really know what they'd be called, or their part number. Anyone out there got some idea of what I've just described, and could tell me what I'm looking for? I've already cut corners on this project, so having new seals in places it's beneficial seems the best route at this point. I don't wanna do this again.
My stealership list already includes the tranny filter kit.
