what are you attaching the racing harness to in the back, placement is critical if you don't want to snap your seat, and spine.

good to see your project is coming along matt. But what sanctioning body are you going to be rallying in? You do know there is new ruling regarding novices getting their full license, right?

ah, you're 2wd? with the 2.2? You're going to be placed into g5 with that car.
2.2 base disp x 1.2 (4 valves per cyl).
Unless you built a screaming 1.8L engine for it.
Given if -i- were a new driving trying to get my car onto the field, I would probably swap in the 1.8L, so that I could really learn how to use the car; REALLY throw it around. Then, once it's been learned, the 2.2 would seem like it had power for days to me.
and again, rally school.

contact J.B. Niday at Rally America.
you may be able to get an exemption for that car and be allowed to run it in PGT this season.
others with some experience in TSD and rally cross that have 2.2 imprezas have.
what type of experience do you have?

I stayed at doo wops untill today and thanks!... I have tons of rally crossing experience auto cross experience and off roading experience blah blah. Unfortunatly I don't think my car will be ready by this season for rallying. But I may contact that person soon anyway.
Thanks.

its always a good idea to contact the people in charge of the series you want to race in.
i know JB pretty well and he doesnt want to keep people from racing and he will at least
try to work something out for you. fortunatley you aren't turbocharged so that is something in your favor. no promises though.
the best way to get in touch w/him is a PM at the Rally America Forum site:
