Today is shakedown, tonight is ceremonial start. We were able to get into the service area during shakedown, so look for some car pictures late tonight or tomorrow.

From the service tent we heard Petter say that he is disappointed with the power the new Impreza is making. Keep in mind that shakedown is at an altitude of 5800 feet, and up the mountain from there. There is a huge impact on available power because of this.

Leob's engine failed during shakedown. The team pushed it onto a flatbed tow truck. Later in the afternoon, back at rally HQ, it was totally enclosed by the service tent with extensive work being performed.

Anyway, we expect to attend the ceremonial start in Guanajuato tonight, so we are saving a bit of energy for a party in the streets.
