Can you just buy the fuel pump sock alone?

On the off chance that the second sock I installed is clogged up already due to a dirty gas tank, is there anywhere that sells a generic sock that fits our fuel pumps. I have the Walbro but our sock fits it. It must be a generic style tip basically.

Not your sock answer, but I've been crucified before on several cars by rusting gas tanks, clogging everything repeatedly. I've also been deviled by a random ball of silicone (previous owner repair?) that kept getting sucked up to the fuel pump, then released intermittently.

If you see temprorary improvement by cleaning the sock again, it might pay to have the tank coated. The tank is cleaned and then epoxy is put in, and the tank spun around to make a new, clean surface. Fixes pinhole leaks, too. Cost me about $100. Most used tanks suck just as bad as the one you already have, I've found.
