Anyone care to give a eulogy for my legacy? RIP Legacy.....

As most of you know my 1990 Legacy AWD Wagon L with 243K on her ticker passed away. She put up a good fight and I think it would be nice if we said a few last words to remember her.

Turbochaged or naturally aspirated
It does not need to be debated
We can all attest
This car did her best
She was AWD
And she drove me crazy
Lets never forget when he engine stopped
So did our hearts...:(

What was it that caused her demise?

With those rims he was probably mistaken for a gangsta and was the victim of a drivebye.

Honestly it's sad to see a Legacy go bye bye, yours with it's erm, intersting interior and exterior mods is no exception. Hopefully the postal wagon becomes a worthy replacement.

Does that thing have 92-94 front struts? That's a wicked tall front end!

Sucks to see it go.

243k is a high mileage even for these cars...

Another one off to Subaru heaven...

Now the vultures sweep in and devour the carcass

Hmmm, I guess it would be huh.

Poor leggy, may you be in heaven a half hour before the devil knows you're dead. I guess she was on her last leggy.

In a way I am actually touched. (just don't tell anyone else)

It really makes me sad to see her go but at this time in my life I need a car that I can jump in and drive anywhere and not have to worry about if it will make it. She treated me well. She got me up mountains, through some mud, the woods and even the concrete jungle as well.

Everyone knows how much I loved this car and it will break my heart to tear her down but knowing that her parts will help keep other gen 1 legacys alive does my heart good.

It might be white, red, green or blue......but mark my words...the legacy will continue.

(Stock shocks. I was on a hill. Somthing in the engine went because she is seized now.)

A bit of prose..

Legacycontines, you stomped her too hard.
Two Hundred Forty-Three K on that poor little car.
You cannot lie, she had a big butt, but the lovin' that came forth was more than enough.
AWD got you here and to there, until one day,
..she demanded FARE!
She wanted premium plus, handwashings each week!
Roads without dust, sweeper-cleaned streets!
In sunny Port Lucie, the vacation spot, she choked, she sputtered, and came to a stop!
You were frantic and stranded, cursing for sure. Might you have a seizure, perhaps even more?
"You stupid rice wagon, you suck dick!" Your temper was flaring, and you felt quite sick.
Full of remorse, as you had it towed home, you went right to the board, to ask what was wrong.
Wishy, and washy, you threatened to leave it, then wonder as we ask 'why?' in bereavement.
She had a TV, a computer, --dvd player too!
..but alas, it just wasn't right with you two. There were presents and good times, but a Charlie you're not. ..You'll move on to the next subaru, leaving her to rot.
The legacy continues, as it always lives on, ashes to dust, THIS all wheel drive is gone.

I'm not much of a poet, you see.

You're far too modest. That's awexome. How long did that take you man. Either you're kidding about not being a poet or you've got some untapped skills.

 I was just bein' goofy.. *giggles*

So.. oggling naked women quell your less desireable emotions? Somehow I don't think that's healthy.
