Here's the 22b engine.

The intake manifold and some other parts are different so I guess that answers my own question. Hehehe.

I thought about that, too. . . . I'm thinking custom axles. . .

Hell, you can't even do an STI drivetrain swap into a WRX wagon without the wheels sticking out more than they should . . . I would think the same would be more than true for a GC chassis.

22b fender flares would fix that.

Indeed. . . just figured, with the absence of those, custom axles were most-likely involved. :)

With wider fenders it'll be actually better than a 22b. That's such a beautiful thing that I want to cry. I think I finally understand women at weddings,

You should take that rebar out while you're doing the wiring... Then you can pull the heater box, and it makes it easier to run the wires where the factory ones are.

Going onto helping with my 4th swap - wiring blows. The mechanicals are easy.

its just the hubs. i know 2 people that did the swap, one used gc hubs and everything fit like a glove. the other just bolted anything that would bolt and they sticked out like mad. too bad for the one that stuck out though. someone tried to jack his car at gun point and he ran off. ended up hitting some water on a turn and wrecked the car

Why, is that your car?

The wiring isnt as much of a mess as it looks like, controlled chaos. I cant recall what turbos on that thing either, but its not stock. Neither are the injectors/computer. Joel says it should be doing over 400hp. I cant wait to go for a ride.

400 at the crank I'm pressuming? Either way, damn, definately let us know how the ride was when you go.

The wiring picture seems suitably blurry for the headache it would induce.
