Long live the Subaru family

So I was out this morning at the creek skipping rocks and hiking around a little and get back to my car just in time to see a 92 blue legacy go scooting by all covered in dirt (he'd been driving the gravel/dirt roads a little hard too I think). I've seen this guy before but going in the other direction so I jump in real quick and catch up to him. We had a nice little caravan going out the road and it was a lot of fun to be running with another blue dirt covered subie, I didn't see a rear diff hanging down in the back so I'm assuming he was FWD too. Once we got to the main highway he turned the same direction as I was and traffic worked out so that I could get in the left lane and pass him but not before giving a big smile and thumbs up to him.
I continue on into town and left him a little behind on the highway. I pull up to the first stop light and low and behold, he pulls up beside me. He rolls his window down, I do likewise, we exchange compliments on car choice and such. He was a cool dude, mid 30's I'm guessing, slightly messed up hair and glasses, it was almost like looking into the future at myself. The light went green and I hesitated to see if he was going to go for it but it didn't seem like he was, but I took it up through third anyways. At least one of the two sitting at the line has got to get up and go right?
It was definately worth skipping my first class this morning. Well you all can go back to anything important you were doing, just had to share my morning fun.
