It will be interesting to hear your oponions on the difference between open, and LSD.
Your gonna have to do a writeup in the reveiws section.

I wonder if the lsd helps in the snow and ice. My old legacy had no problem getting up the driveway in snow and ice but the legacy ss doesn't like it much. maybe im just too careful with the ss but im pretty sure it doesnt grip as well as my old 90 legacy L.

I have traction problems in all weather in the SS, so I'm sure the LSD is going to be helpful.
At the very least, it'll get the ass out more, which is always fun

The problem is the amount of torque the engine puts down so low. I had the same problem in any sort of slippery stuff. The way I figured out to make it go was to let it drop almost down to idle and it would
finally get traction.

funny story, I have a receipt from the previous owner for some tune up or other, shows that they put "Limited Slip additive" in the rear diff. yet its open.

Yep, sounds good, I will be installing it in a few weeks, right before I paint the car.

I was suprised when I opened the packaging, it really does look brand new. It was well taken care of.
