I was prety bored last night so I decided to go to hastings to look for some car books. While i was searching through the Haynes manuals i found a New looking book. Its Called Haynes Xtreme Customizing, In-Car Entertainment.
Now the book was sealed when i bought it, And it was discounted to 15 bucks. This is the first Haynes book that actualy has color pcitures. And Alot of them. It was the most helpful car stereo book that i have ever read. Which realy suprises me considering all the praise i've heard for the car stero cookbook which IMHO was a waste of money.
I have installed maybe a half dozen stereos and most of them have been by trial and error. This book would have helped alot. It covers everything from Simple Head unit replacement, Choosing speakers, Custom fiberglass work and Tons more. I sat up and read until 3:30 this morning.
SO if anyone has any car stereo work in the future that you arnt quite sure how to do, dont risk your componants. Buy this book.
