i really never drive over 40mph on my way to school, alot of stoplights and traffic... so i decided to invest in a water sprayer!

looked around, and most of them where well over 100$!:evil:
soo i think it was around (15+7+4+10+.99) 36.99 w/o tax in stores
here's what you'll need:
12v DC r/c fuel pump
Plastic fuel tank, i used 16oz
some standard 1/8th" ID hose ~4 to 5 ft to be safe
a switch of somekind
and a window washer sprayer <i used summit b/c they always have these flashy ones on clearance for cheap

I located the pump and tank next to each other to conserve hose. It was cool here and i just ziptied them in place.


i hope you didn't remove that metal brace for that plastic engine cover.
Mount one of the washer nozzles through the hole, you may need some spacers/washers to make sure the spray will clear the bend in the metal, and sit high enough to get ontop of the i/c.



and than i connected the pump directly to the POS. battery terminal and than ran a wire into my car where a switch would ground it.

i just grounded it on some screw in there.. saved some wires too

this spray setup sprays hard enough that when it hits the i/c it creates such a massive splash of mist.. covers the complete i/c with water... i might tone it down too, b/c i can empty my tank in about 30 - 45 seconds of spraying

you will need to tinker with the direction the jets point to get them to spray in the middle, but it's all fun

if you wanted, you could make the switch reverse polarity if you get a DPDT switch, which would let you purge the lines of the water back into the tank.

I bought a small washer fluid tank with pump attached at a junkyard. It fit just next to the battery.

I used sprayers for plant watering as they get a very fine misting action going. For that reason, I have a sprayer pointing on both sides.

i have some sprayers that have the led;s on them. i was thinking of installing them but since i have fmic i dont think it was really nessary. i might do it for shits and giggles though.

yours looks soo nice , lol- mine is completely ghetto rigged , i think i remember your post about your sprayer setup- i looked for a tank w/ pump and had no luck... o well- Very Nice!!

I have some spray nozzles from an STi that I'll be tapping into the bumper when I go FMIC.

Now that you have that FMIC- this should be soon right??

I have a couple sprayers and some hose and crap from home depot, don't know if i'll ever use it tho.

I strapped my nozzle to the little round bushing thingie on the side of the Saab intercooler.
