Being a HS senior this year I was recently looking back on my time in HS and thinking about some of my favorite classses. I've really enjoyed government but my all time favorite class has been the Star Wars elective this year. Anyone else?

I was on the yearbook staff for 2.5 years. . . editor of it my senior year. Definitely the most enjoyable class I was in.

uhhh metal shop, no contest. I wish I was more into cars in HS, I would have fabbed a whole bunch of shit. We had a bunch of oxy/acetylene setups, a mig, a tig, two arcs, a bunch of lathes, a bunch of bridgeport mills, and even a tube bender. I wasted a lot of time in that class blowing shit up when I could have been making cool stuff.

advanced ceramics was cool too, spent all my time on the wheel making "vases"
favorite "real" class would be world history. the desks were couches, and we watched movies on a huge screen on the wall. there was a fridge you could buy soda from, and the teacher didnt give a shit about anything. yet somehow he was the department head

I voted gym, and that only means weightlifting class for me. I never hated any particular class, but that was my fave.

What's this High School people are talking about, I think I slightly remeber it. I enjoyed none of my Classes. However I enjoyed all of my classes in College

We had a class called lifetime activities. We'd bowl, golf, ski, flyfish, occasionally play dodgeball, and once we went sledding. Oh, and also racketball, broom ball, and ice skating. It's also a class full of juniors and seniors, so we all carpooled and drove ourselves to whatever we were doing. The class was before lunch, too, so we could just go straight to lunch afterwards. I ended up taking it twice, and then T/Aing for it my senior year for a semester.

I really wish I would have taken welding. I took the cisco network academy, biggest waste of time. For me, the teacher makes or breaks the class, just like in college now.

I'd have to say that Physics I and II were my favorite HS classes. The year I took Physics I was the last that it counted as both a math and science credit, or something crazy like that. I also took that Cisco networking course and that too was the last year that it counted as a math credit. Counting Calculus that I got forced into taking (because I just barely got a B in Pre-Calculus, and had previously selected it for that year. I tried to switch out of it, but for those reasons they wouldn't let me), I ended up with 8 math credits, when everyone else I knew ended up with 4, maybe 5.
But HS in general was a part of my life that I'd rather stay behind me. I wish I would have actually gave a shit at the time. I wish I actually talked to more people, cause things could be so different for me right now, I've been finding out recently.

I went to alternative hs, so things weren't altogether 'fun', but in a prison sense, we made it fun. My fave had was either the law classes, (where they taught us how to break the law more

) civics, or PE. Our PE is awesome; no showers, no clothes-changing, just be prepared to play whatever we're gonna play. Of course, we were let in on it ahead of time, but it was mostly volleyball, dodgeball, or some kind of modified lacrosse. Other times we went for walks, which I also enjoyed. The teacher was hott, and was quite bossy about the activities.. needless to say, she was quite the object of MY affection.

One time we tried yoga.. I didn't like it.

I loved gym class, nothing like playing dodgeball with volleyballs, although the sport was banned from our school after that incident.
I also took the cisco networking classes every morning before my regular school and felt it was a waste of time so i stopped going.
Other thing i liked was three of my friends and I built an electric car and raced in the omaha powerdrive contest. We all got pretty good at welding by the time it was done although our vehicle had three wheels and was too high off the ground, It liked to jump onto two wheels on corners, then the throttle got stuck and the brakes quit working and we were out of the race early, some funny memories tho and we were glad we took the time to install the three point harness. But we did have the fastest car there at about 45 mph.

My favorite was cabinet making. I took three years of it (I'm certified by the state for what that means?) and then my senior year I just took the class as a no credit class where all I did was work on the wood lathe. Next in line though would be the science classes, particularly physics because I loved the teacher. Chem was fun too and because our teacher, along with my calc teacher, would play hockey with us out of school (we had just a small group that we'd play pick up games). Kinda strange cursing at your teacher one afternoon to get out of the way (I was a goalie) and then the next morning have him for class.

Indeed they are. We have one in our basement and I have been woodworking since I was little. The lathe is more or less my specialty and even won several hundred for school with a couple of my turnings. They were actually made during that class come to think about it. Damn I miss that class.
