only rear lateral links okay?

I'm looking to get used lateral links for my '93. The junkyards list them as front or rear lower control arms (LCA). I need the rear ones, the ones with the welded brackets for the sway bar. Some junkyards sell them all separately. Do I need to get the front LCAs or can I just get the rear LCAs if they are from an Impreza? I know they are supposed to be all interchangeable but I just wanted to make sure and not have the car all apart only to find that I should have bought the front LCAs also.

Another question: some junkyards list them as upper and lower control arms. So what am I supposed to tell them if they don't understand? Is the rear LCA the upper or lower LCA? Or is it better just to go on the next j/y?

Go to a pick and pull, where you can take the parts you need off of the car yourself.

You should be able to use the rearward lateral link from any GC. They should be interchangeable just fine.

I bought some rear lateral links and endlinks from a guy on nasioc off his 99 Impreza. He ended up sending me all four links, so I'm just putting them all on for the newer bushings.
