love the increase in the contact patch even though steering effort increased a bit.
as nice as the stock 15s look in anthtracite i LOVE the gold 16s!
and just so my wagon doesnt feel left out of the fun
the wagon will get her 15's later in the month since she has all seasons while the SS had Hakkapalitas.

are those Kumho 712's? if so what size and how do you like them. I am considering a set of those or ecsta ASX's.

thats the way they came they are '98 RS coupe wheels.
yep they are the 712 in 205/55/16
not sure about a comparison to the ASX, though.

i would like to cure the midwestern snowbelt curse, but i dont think i can afford a powerfull enough witch doctor. its mostly sheetmetal rust so it shouldnt be
too hard to fix.
as far as the ASX over the 712. i looked at the ASX a lttle more and it seems like a decent all season tire.
but for the money i like the look of the continetal conitextremecontact

yeah those contis look awesome. way better buy than the ASX, though unfortunately they dont come in 50 or 45 series. I was thinking of going to a smaller diameter to get a more accurate speedo and better gearing, probably a little better handling too. plus they are supposed to be awesome for the snow
let us know what you think of those 712's too once you get some miles on em.

Those five-spokes look nice. Provide a good view of the brakes but aren't too much. The gold is a nice accent to your car as well.
