Cusco F STB install notes...

So I picked up a new Cusco front strut tower bar last week. Model# 660540A (for the GC8 chassis).
Install was fine and dandy until I went to close the hood
. Fortunately I was skepticle of fitment so I closed the hood slowly... The bar hit the hood skelleton (supports) inbound and the actual hood skin on the outbound portions.
I hammered the supports into submission and that solved that, but I had to take about 3/16" off of the high spots of the cusco plates with a die grinder (blended the radius so it looks good/functions well, and I'll touch it up with some paint soon). I will try to post pics (I took some but am not real versed in attachments).
Anyhow, the cusco piece is Very nice with ~1/8"+ (didn't measure)steel uprights and plate bottom, which is also designed well to resist deformation (in-line with forces, no cantilevered memebers as I've seen with some of the cheapo ebay models)
no driving impressions yet - just a snowy commute this AM - but it must shore up this flexy BF chassis. I looks tits too
