SAFC II

So after spending a few hrs reading up on the functions and instalation I got it in. It has a lot of cool functions and looks easy to use.
Bad thing is I start the car up and it dies right off. So I recheck the wiring, it's good, recheck the SAFC settings and that it's not adjusting anything, all good. Try it again no luck.
Time for the multimeter, all the wires are good.
Everthing works on the unit and it will run if I keep on the gas but real shitty. I also noticed that the MAF voltage didn't change when it was running. (the SAFC display can tell you TPS, MAF, and knock raw data in volts) I unplug it and check the voltage it looks right, .9ish at idle and goes up when rev it up.
So then I checked the SAFC and the MAF sensor in wire is grounded out. Damn I got screwed, and I picked this thing up like 6 months ago so at the most I could get into a pissing match with the seller.
So I can't find out at the APEX'i website if they do repairs, or if it would be worth fixing. I bet it would cost as much to fix as a LegaCU will cost. Right now it's a cool TPS, knock sensor

I'm sure it will work, mine is just broken. How well it will work I'm not sure. There is the issue of timing but I have no idea how big of an issue it will be. I think for a stock or lightly moded (like no bigger injectors) car there should be no problems, it would only need to adjust a small amount to give you a better AFR. I would do it with a wbO2, that's my plan.

okay, sounds good. I was wanting a way to maybe lean out my afr, in one way or another..
Which is better? WB02, or the 4wire? Is there both? Any idea of comparison?

I've got the safcII and the Ignition timing controller, just need to put them in but im waiting to get the engine running first.

What exactly is wrong with your controller?

The wbO2 is way better. Lets you see the AFR not just if it's lean or rich.
