I was playing around w/ my Saab IC today, checking fitment, thinking about routing etc. And it looks like it might work well in the battery location. Hey w/ our 55/45 weight distrbution it would be good to relo the batt anyway.

Has anyone tried this location?

Ok heres my next BIG idea. Maybe in the snorkus location, possibly in the drivers fender even. Anyone played w/ this idea yet?

I'd go for down in the fender, you can route air to it there. It wouldn't get much air where the battery is.

yeah, it would get air, I could pull the fog light blank like I did for my intake. AND best part I think, is it is out of the hot engine compartment.

putting it down in the fender would be cool. like a dsm/vw/nissan sidemount.

you would have to move the battery anyway to make room for pipe routing.

You could put some vents Mercedes diesel style or ducts in the side to feed it also. Maybe ducts in and behind it to let air out would be cool.
