Should the oil inlet hose on the turbo have a section that looks like it's squashed, not squashed shut but kind of bent in a little? It's bent on a turn right before it goes into the banjo bolt. I noticed that mine was a little bit and it doesn't look right to me. Has anyone else noticed this?

I'm bumping this due to an amazing lack of copper washers in the world. I did some searching online and found some washers with various OD's and ID's. I didn't get a chance to measure the ID's of mine when I had them off last, grrr.

The OD isn't very important as long as it's meant for banjo bolts. You just need 10mm ID.

I cannot believe that you can't get them locally. Seriously, go to AutoZone and demand that they permit you to look through the drawers behind the counter.

A lot of times washers sold as 3/8" are actually 10mm because 10mm washers typically work in 3/8" applications.

I actually did firmly state they probably had one in a drawer behind the counter and the one guy flatly refused to let me sort through it, if indeed it was there. I'll try again with a friendlier sales rep. I did find a place online that sells 9.2 ID copper washers for brake lines and there were some 3/8ths ones too. I just didn't want to buy a gross of 100.

Goodness. That place sucks.

If you have no other choice, a Subaru dealer ought to be able to get it for you for about four times the appropriate price.
