Are there more car parts in your house/apartment than garage

OK, I have always had the modding affliction whether is it the truck, the Maxima or the Legacy. Now for those with a garage, if you were like me, there would be so many parts there that you run out of room.

I have spare stuff for three cars and a truck. I also have boxes of stuff in the apartment/house waiting to go on.

So it seems like the car has taken over the garage and the inside too.

I have as we speak (waiting in boxes for me to get to work):
2 sets of WRX front brakes, all the pads for the two subarus, subframe lock bolts, a downpipe, a pillar pod, gauges, custom Din pod, diamond coil pack, 4 sets of clear side markers, ( anyone want one??) spare tail lights, and god knows what else.

I think maybe if I decide to build a house, it will just be a three car garage with a small loft for me.

Armature, I’ve got more parts cars than you’ve got boxes of parts. LOL

But I understand you are limited because you live in an apartment. And a lot of my stuff is just old used parts. But just wait tell you get more space… you’ll fill it all. I have 2 ½ acres, a 36 x 48 shop (soon to be 36 x 72), and half a dozen sheds and out buildings, all stuffed full, (not just car stuff). I have learned something about myself… I LOVE junk, lots and lots of junk. Here’s a list of my current automotive population:

Running:
’97 Suburban (wife’s)
’92 Legacy SS, 4EAT (newly acquired)
’91 Legacy SS, 5MT (newly acquired)
’87 Subaru RX (daily driver)
’87 Subaru GL wagon (kids)
’86 Plymouth K
’83 Olds Delta Diesel
’80 Chevy Diesel P/U
’59 VW Beetle Convertible (wife’s summer car)

Projects:
’70 Triumph Spitfire
’69 VW Dunebuggy
’65 Pontiac Catalina (my first car)
’57 VW Beetle

Parts/Junk:
’86 Subaru turbo Coupe
’74 VW camper van (for sale)
’68 VW Beetle
’63 VW Baja
’63 VW Beetle

And that doesn’t count my dads cars and trailers (7).

I really need a Camaro on blocks in the front yard to complete the collection.

Just white trash in Eastern WA
Gary

P.S. I dont really live in a junk yard, all my stuff is pretty well organized and none of it is in the front yard, my wife would have none of that!

no car parts in the house. they dont mix well w/ kids. but at one point the garage had 14 tires in it, 4 used struts, a left front hub assembly, old h2o pump, and a loyale fender.

but i do have nearly 4 thousand comic books in my closet.

Half a spare room with seats, wheels, and other misc parts. Engine disassembled on the kitchen floor, FI, turbo, and junk on the table, and manifold above the cabinets.

I used to be friends with a guy who's father had a beautiful place in the uppity town with 14+ junk cars littering the woods around the house. Most of them were '80's Camaros and large Ford stuff. The only things interesting were a rotting International Scout and a '70 Cuda (but with a 318).
