I've seen the turbosmart pneumatic FCD, it works with MAP controlled fuel cut. It taps in the pressure line and seem to bleed air at a certain pressure, a little like Morgie`s fcd.
Are they any good for our application, i know that vrg3 FCD is good, but i suck at soldering and found an affordable turbosmart FCD. THX

It should work fine. From what I understand it actually uses a small enough bleed orifice that it can raise the overboost threshold rather than eliminating fuel cut altogether.

how much is it???
nuand made one for me but it didnt work as well as i hoped as it pushed fuel cut back but not far enough.
im using a small similar valve that has a 7 psi minium release that i got for 15 bucks. works just fine.

I am using a VRG3 FCDII, and haven't had any overboost related problems for quite some time.

<-- VRG3FCDII installed and happy for quite some time now. Regularly boost (when clutch is happy) above 13 lbs for > 3 seconds and everything = AOK
