OK, for those who have a 16g, are you running the deadbolt one special for us with the modified inlets, or are you running an old non us wrx 16g?

either way, what kind of modifications were made to make the intake path work and how hard were the mods.

Thanks

I'm running the Deadbolt 16G but it's not the clocked compressor outlet version. It's the one that is like the old WRX/STI. Hmm, I have a thread about my install. I'll try and find it and I'll post the link. I think it will answer a lot of your questions.

I'm running one from a 94 WRX. Inlet is just like Matts. Just make it work :)

yes, but front-mounting an intercooler carries its own set of installation woes lol

OK, my worries were the intake outlet hitting the intake manifold. I will be going FMIC anyway, so that is not an issue.

Thanks!

You'll have to rerun the PCV lines that are right by the compressor outlet too. The compressor outlet goes right into them.

You'll also have to turn the coolant supply line around and rerun the coolant line that comes from the coolant fill tank. All this is in the link I provided.
