Hey i want to rebuild my turbo on my 91 ss and put new seals and whatnot in it is there any specific kits available for this or what have you guys done in the past also what kind of cost?

Subaru ej22t kit are 400$ can. available at the dealer. Great kit by the way

whaaaaaaaa? I got my RHB5 rebuild kit for like $90 from a local turbo place. They had to order it for me but it had everything I needed to rebuild my VF-11 and even hybrid with the t-bird turbo compressor wheel and housing. The only thing I didn't have was the snap-ring style tool that helps get the first bearing out of the housing.

Check locak turbo-based dealers or tuning shops first. Ask for a rebuild kit for an IHI RHB5 VF-11 turbo, they should be able to get you everything you need.

Oh, and the torque spec for the last nut that goes on the turbo shaft is 65 inch/lbs.

Dude. For $400 you can almost get a TD05-16g WRX turbo from the UK. Don't DON'T spend $400 on our little crappy turbos! lol

I'm not sure of the conversion rate but he said canadian.
