Stupid question...
anyone know an online place to buy more manifold vacuum tubing?
Pepboys? nope. Autozone? nope. Advance Auto? nope. Advance AUto - in store? no

I do not believe you that those places do not carry vacuum hose. I have bought it in bulk from AutoZone, Advance, NAPA, CarQuest, Parts Plus... just about any auto parts store I can think of. Ask them at the counter. The latter three typically have dispensers right behind the cash register.

I agree with your thinking. I feel like this should be easy. But, I stopped by Advance and they claim that they never stock 1/8th inch ID. (don't even ask for 3.5mm. ha!).
And, I couldn't really navigate to genric tubing on anyone's webpage. You know, they force you to choose your car and then tell you they have no plain old rubber tubes that will fit an old Subaru (gimme a break!).
Do you know of an online place that sells it in bulk?

Boxer4Racing sells the RS Akimoto silicone vacuum hose in a combo pack that has 10-ft of 3mm, 5-ft of 6mm and 2-ft of 10mm for $29.99.

(about halfway through the "intake" section)
I also know that Summit Racing carries this item as well, since that's where I bought mine (before I knew that Dale carried silicone vacuum hose).
BTW, if you are looking for this type of product in an autoparts store it tends to be in the "bling/rice" section at many places since they are colored. Personally I'd rather have black silicone tubing myself anyway, but strangely enough that's harder to find than the colored stuff.

What exactly are you looking for? I have a fair bit of them in my garage, including a number of lines that are the specific length and bends for the turbo cars. Tell what you have going on here and I may be able to help you out with factory parts...

Oh yeah, I'm all about McMaster. We use it at work religously. But, the selection is the problem, though! I'm not sure which tubes are best for engine manifold vacuum, which tubes are best for soda machine CO2 lines, and which ones are best used to refuel the space shuttle!
PS - regarded the initial question, I ended up getting the Akimoto stuff from Summit racing, and they seem to be doing the job. So thanks!

You can't trust the word of just one person at Advance or whatever. I asked the counter person one day if they had ANY 10mm 1.25 thread bolts in stock. The guy just flatly said no. I trolled around the back and stumbled across both a pack of four and drain pan bolts that fit my needs.
