How I Spent My Day

Went up to MD to install my new brakes with Phil. Got the car jacked up and noticed that NTB had put my lugs back on with an impact gun and managed to completely cross threaded the bolt-fuckers. Anyways got everything else on without a problem. Finally discovered what was warping all my rotors. Turns out one of the guide pins was sticking and causing the pad to rub the rotor.
Bleeding the brakes was easy with help. There was alot of air and really really dirty fluid in the lines. Once the pads/rotors were broken in they felt amazing. A world of difference. I didn't really notice the increased front biased at all.
It was a good way to spend a morning. Got to learn how to do brakes, meet a fellow LC member and ride in Phil's SS. Just wanted to thank Phil for taking time out of his day to help me with the install.
