So, as I understand it, the shorthand is:

headers->uppipe->turbo->downpipe->midpipe->axle back right?

Then, you need a turbo front(?) crossmember to clear the header (or is that the downpipe?)

Then, if you want to bolt a WRX aftermarket system onto a LegacyT you'll have to (a) remove a bracket on the downpipe, and (b) insert like a six-inch extension into the midpipe (or the axle-back?).

Sorry - I always search for this stuff but only sometimes get definitive answers, and sometimes don't know the shorthand parts terms.

Yes, you're right about the order... If you want to break the headers down too you can:

Left header -> Crosspipe -> Right header -> Uppipe -> Turbo -> Downpipe (with cat) -> Midpipe (with cat) -> Axle-back (with muffler)

The engine crossmember on turbo models has a little notch in it to clear the uppipe.

Which one is the cross pipe?

The one that goes between the driver side and passenger side exhaust manifolds. It's what you see when you stand in front of the car and look down between the radiator and the motor.
