This indian guy who looked a bit like Vikash(big poofy beard, etc) was buying electrical parts. Then he paid with a debit card, and his name WAS VIKASH!

Doppleganger.

That's what I was looking for. Good word, Scott.

Haha, that's awesome. He was buying electrical parts, like how I buy electrical parts. And paying with a debit card, like how I pay with a debit card. And ...

Vikash is actually a pretty common Indian name... It's often spelled Vikas, though.

My beard's not poofy anymore. I trim it more often now that I have short hair.

Now that you have short hair!!!!

Are you giving up on your spirituality?! j/k

Or are you just conforming... j/k

Hehe that's crazy.

Vikash is out of school now, he's gotta get a job and hence the haircut. Am I right Vikash?

Or at least I know that's going to be the fate of my beautiful long hair.

Geez, relax guys I was only kidding. Don't be so serious. You're talking to a guy who used to have hair halfway down his back and cut it short.

If I came across as real serious...sorry :). I am serious in that I'm curious if he cut it because he's out of school and I was serious that that's what will happen to my hair (currently to the bottom of my shoulder blades) but I didn't mean to sound 'serious', I forgot to add my "j/k's" ;)

I apologize if I was serious in my not being serious statement. I didn't mean to sound like I was barking or anything. I was speaking more to Hardy but I probably just took his statement the wrong way and I didn't mean to come back all hard or anything. I just thought maybe I was being taken the wrong way. I know Vikash is a good person. One of the nicest and most sincere I've ever met actually. It's just his hair was so long I remember what it was like to slice it off.

Hehehehehe.... You guys are funny.

I had planned to cut my hair just before defending my thesis, and donate it to Wigs for Kids, and did.

I actually had short hair for a brief period about four and a half years ago, when I donated what I had then too. Then I went through the mophead phase and the mullet phase before getting back to my normal self.

But now I'm kind of liking the short hair. It's so practical, except for the fact that it has to be cut often. But it's kind of nice nice knowing my hair won't fall down into the alternator belt, or get wrapped up in the wheel of the creeper, or blow in my face when I open the window, or catch on the seat belt, or pick up the pen that's in my shirt pocket, or ... I could go on.

We'll see, though... I do like donating to Wigs for Kids.

I remember V saying something about Locks of Love, and Wigs for Kids, so I knew that's what he'd done with his hair. Methinks I'da done it, too, but my hair doesn't grow fast enough.. I'd be 25 by the time it'd be long enough to donate. Too long.
In fact, I'm cutting off what I have today, since the weather is so nice. Short hair IS practical, and much easier on maintenance, although, shoulder-length hair is probably just as easy, even if you don't go all Marsha Brady on it..

Thesis...work, eh I was close. The practicality I can certainly understand and there have times where the thought has passed through my mind, but I can't part with it yet.

I've heard of Locks of Love (my plan), but not Wigs for Kids, is it a nation wide thing or just kinda local?

Wigs for Kids is nationwide too... They're very similar; I think Wigs for Kids generally provides hairpieces for children who lose their hair while undergoing chemotherapy, whereas Locks of Love generally helps children who suffer from other medical conditions which cause them to lose or not grow hair.

I just learned about Wigs for Kids first. My ex figured out that she could get me to cut my hair by giving me a good cause. It backfired on her, though, cuz then she had to put up with the mophead and mullet and ended up with the long hair again.

Someone should photoshop Vikash in a mullet next to an old Camaro on blocks.
