I have three wires, red, black and purple.
red-power(+ battery), black- ground, purple- front o2 sensor?? from downpipe. what wire do I tap into from the plug connector...it says I can't tap into the 02 sensor wires directly...also...I do use the o2 sensor coming from the downpipe right?

If I remember its the red wire on the o2 harness. Check a wiring diagram to see which is the signal, pretty sure its red, but double check anyway. That should be it.

I am using an autometer air/fuel ratio gauge...I used the red wire on the 02 sensor for the signal wire...my gauge is showing two readings.. on is on stoich, and the other is on rich...why am I getting two readings? is the red wire the wrong one for the signal??
