Which way should this valve be facing???

Post by 02SIXT »

I have a 1991 Legacy Turbo sedan, there is a valve at the bottom left hand corner of my engine bay that sits between the purge tank and the air intake silencer box, and it says on it " TO E/G" with an arrow pointing toward the "E/G"
My question is should that arrow be pointing toward the air box or back towards the purge tank?? I think it may be facing the wrong way right now cuz my acceleration and gas mileage sucks ass!
Someone must know the answer to this!

Flip it around and see if the problem goes away.
