Just picked it up a few hours ago.
Drove 8 hours there, and 7 hours back in an F350 Powerstroke Diesel Quad Cab Lariat (with the 7.3 and the allison tranny).
What was I bringing back? Well, it's to late for pictures, but it's a shiny, 1991 Legacy Sport Sedan. It's got a blown tranny (had to get it up the driveway in 3rd, since it appears that 2nd is the borked gear).
What's funny, is we got better gas mileage on the way home with the car on the trailer, than we got on the way there without a car in tow. 12.4mpg there, 13.5mpg on the way back. Oh, and it cost me $200 in gas. Worth it though, I'm pretty excited.
Pics later. Sleep now.

I have lots of options. I don't mind the pre-face body (though the rear is hideous), I DO mind the fact that the headlights are crappy.

Rally lights and paint the back of the trunk.

Congrats. I'm picking up my 91 Sport Sedan tomorrow too. We both have SS's now, then we both got CBR's, and now 91 SS's. Coincidence? I think not.

Sweet Phil! What are your plans?

Probably gonna put a tranny in it and start building from the ground up with parts off of my car.
I originally bought the car for a parts car, but it's in really good condition. The drivers door doesn't lock from the outside, and the AC doesn't work (wouldn't be in there anyway though, so that's no big deal).
The engine is coming out of one of my two cars, and it going to be fully built.

Good plan. Can't go wrong with a higher gear ratio

Kelly's (rallitek), his rear end looks pretty dope, and it's a preface --definitly the majority at teh wclcm.. I think it's either smoked, or painted black, but all the white reflective portion has been covered.

Yeah, mine was completely black, seemed kinda smoked. You could only read the ARU portion of Subaru. The Turbo badge was normal.
I ended up grabbing a normal panel off of a '91 L (which I also grabbed the leather door panels from) and swapping over my badge. I kept the black one just for painting red to match the car, to see how that would look

It's a strange look, takes some getting used to.

**Waves hand in a Jedi mind trick** You want to drive here and drop it off at my place.
"Hey Scott, why don't I just give it to you?"
Thanks Phil, see you later tonight....?

It would probably be a gearbox from a WRX, after converting the center diff to 1:1.
I may actually crack this tranny open and see how bad it really is... It sounds horrible, but it might not be THAT bad.
I would really like to pick up a spare tranny and do a RWD setup, just to give that a shot for a while. I don't want to put my precious LSD's at risk though...

Convert to an r200 diff.

No! No Escalade on dubs towing an SS? Damn
Oh well Steve, your car is still the most badass BF I've ever driven.
I'm trying to figure out which car to canabalize for parts.
my 94 is just getting beat. Potential motor problems.
The 91 has worse headlights, no AC, and the drivers door doesn't lock and it's got a blown tranny. The 94 works, but hardly runs. The 91 runs, but hardly works.

fix the 91, trash the 94.

do a patented Steve-o-matic lighting setup on the '91
vulture part follows-
give me what's left of your 94, especially the engine thats not staying, we could have 2 EJ22T BF swaps at the next- stop dreaming

I think Phil plans to always have 2 EJ22T's from now on (kinda like me). That way you can rebuild one while running the other. Then when running the rebuilt you can slowly rebuild the other one too. Then it's there if you need it or it can go into a GC chassis.
Phil- I think you should be the first to incorporate the '91 front with the '92 rear. That would be super pimp.
