Today we had ourselves a little meet. We took this route minus 7-12:
By the time we got to 7 only two people were really able to go. I broke a droplink, brian was having intercooler problems, and two of the other guys had to leave.
here's the money shot:

Yeah Hardy took me for a spin to show me his new suspension setup and his recent developements with his 4.111 and a turboed 2.2 setup, and on the way back, we found the only mud we saw all day. So with little encouragement, he got some tires to spin in it and get his car looking like a natural subaru.

I seriously think that every time renmaxi comes to my house with his 91 turbo, my sedan, and my grandfather's wagon... we have the largest BC/BF meet in Florida history!
I wish there were more Subaru enthusiasts here locally (besides WRX's and STi's

)
Looks like you all had fun!

Hardy! You passed on a double-yellow! Tsk tsk!!

You'd be dead meat if a cop caught you doing that in NC...

Looks like a fun time!
I think the next meet I throw might just be a laid back shop and backroad driving meet. Everyone at the F&S seemed to like the idea too.
Really though, the next "meet" around here will be the East Coast Subaru Shootout in August. So maybe a mid fall event will materialize.

I'm really sorry i missed this. I was planning on going, but my car isn't really in any condition to be flogged, at the moment. Gimme a week or 2....

I wouldn't call a meet in southern Oregon a "central" meet. A central meet would be like Nebraska or some crap. In the interest of interest, I'd vote for a CO meet or else something a little further east then Nebraska.
I've gone through Nebraska and there's not much there but corn.

I could be down for some CO action assuming I don't have another issue like the last one.

oh, like central us! i thought he was talking about west coast central.
I'd drive as far as Kansas for a meet, providing lots of people would make it.

Fuck Kansas. You all need to come to Colorado this winter and we'll have a Ski/Cruse/Meet in Vail or Breckenridge Colorado.
Snow + Subarus = T3h ho77n355.

No more snowboarding for me. If you really want to though, start planning it.

I'm not planning anything until I get enough interest. That being more then 25 people.

Don't worry, I wouldn't go if it ended up like wclcm.

More about the sacramento meet

I had a blast, even tho the RX wanted to blow apart my intercooler piping on every uphill climb. I guess 10psi is too much for the rubber plumbers coupler.
Scott, I have alittle more suspension work to do, and then I want to do the same run with my 15" rims. Hopefully Hardy will keep his Legacy running until then and maybe even Ryan's brother can tag along. It was nice having a small group, but we need some more legacy's and maybe some more old-school.
Hardy, i could really use one of your spare turbo's as well. Now that my car is passed smog, its time for a turbo and exhaust. That oil we saw while removing the intercooler was uncalled for
See everybody next time.

My brother is working at summer camp until Mid August, so he won't be available for a drive for a while.

If it was the right date, I would totally do it. Im in Indiana and my subie has only ever gone north or far east coast...she could use some diversity in her travels. If you did plan one....which I am not seeing 25 hands in the air....I would vote Breck. Its better for boarding and we could hit keystone for some stealth runs followed by a late night subie cruise. You think my wagon would fit in the gondola?
