My car officially sucks in the rain .

225/45/17 RE070's with 30,000 miles on them, lots of low-end, and absurdly high tire pressures (around 40), not to mention great front-rear balance, and grabby brakes.

ABS doesn't stand a chance, and coming into a left turn at an intersection in 2nd leaves me at full opposite lock and revs searching for a limit.

Talk about fun! Understeer is defeated with a quick roll to boost, and once you do that, it's just a matter of reeling in the car.

I like how well the car responds to throttle inputs when it's sliding. I've become familiar with sliding the car in the dry with RE92's and applied torque, but the RE070's only slide slightly in the dry and the car turns into Tonya Harding when the skies open up. It's cool.

Heh, the other day on my way to work for my first day, it was raining. I forgot how much my rear tires (BFGoodrich Traction T/A's) suck in the rain, and I just drove like I normally do around turns.

Around the one turn, my ass slid more than usual. Instead of freakin for a split second, like I normally would, I just pulled myself out of it like it was nothing. I didn't even realize that I knew what to do, and I wasn't nervous like normal. I will admit that it was fun though

I'll add that I never got to drive my car until a couple weeks after it last snowed here, so I never got to screw around in the snow to see how it'd handle on snow and wet grounds. I normally like to do that, just so I'll know for if I ever need it.

RE92s with very little shoulder left are pretty fun/scary in the wet.

do you have a rear LSD?

Not in the car with the RE070's.
